Elk rawhide is used for making drums, lacing, medicine wheels, moccasin soles, bags, and rope. Each hide is on a 4x8 piece of plywood for reference. Each elk hide is different by nature.

#2 Has more holes so you can’t get a pow-wow drum head or only big enough for one side. Good for small projects that still need elk thickness , such as rattles, lamp shades and hand drums at a cheaper price.
